The Student Welfare Worker works as part of the School team to plan for and deliver student resilience and wellbeing services within the school. This can be as part of a small group or on a one-to-one basis.

The Student Welfare Worker is available at Airdale Primary School throughout the school day on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in 2013 and on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 2014

Referral
Students can self refer as they are encouraged to speak with the Student Welfare Worker if they feel they need support in dealing with a school or personal issue. Referrals can also be made by teachers, Student Counsellor and parents or care-givers.
